8th Grade Guitar
Welcome to 8th Grade Music!
In 8th grade music you will be studying the guitar! The guitars are provided to you to use by the school, so you do not need your own. If you have your own guitar, then you can practice at home!
QUARTER
8th Grade Guitar Class is 9 weeks long.
In guitar class you will learn how to play basic chords, read melody notes in the E and B string, and play simple basslines. In addition you will write your own chord progressions and create your own cover tune based upon a simple tune.
We will also study Sweet Home Chicago, and you will create your own cover version to perform for the class.
