Cross Country is a great opportunity that is open to all grade levels.  This is a chance to get involved, stay active and to be a part of a competitive team.

Practices typically take place from 3:30 until 5:00 at Sandburg.  All grade levels practice together.   Students are expected to show up to each practice and participate in all activities.  If there is an emergency or a reason why a student will not be at practice, coaches should be notified.

Each meet will take place at a school in DuPage County.  They will begin around 4:15 and are about 1.5 miles. The order of the races are typically 6th/7th grade girls, 6th/7th grade boys and 8th grade girls, and then 8th grade boys.   Runners can leave when they have completed their race or stay and ride the bus back to Sandburg.  The bus will leave the meet around 6:00 PM after the 8th grade races.
